Hi from Austria
« on: January 08, 2017 - 03:14:43 PM »
Hi everyone!
My name is Christian and I bought a 1970 Dodge Challenger RT two years ago and imported this hell of a ride from the US to Vienna, Austria.
It is a 440 U-Code, 4 speed pistol grip in Hemi Orange (original per fender tag). We needed to do some improvements like power disc brakes, clutch, idler arm and I guess the usual small stuff. So needed some time to get her ready for registration in AT.
"Only thing" missing is the original engine so it´s not number matching. At least the 440 is date correct and loud & fast as hell :-).
My first mopar and classic us-car, so do not expect an expert here ;-)
Looking forward to discuss some topics!
Greetings from Vienna!
Christian

Welcome from North Carolina, USA......very nice ride you have. I,also have a u code.  She likes gas!  More pics will be great, especially showing your countryside in the background.

Welcome to the site from New York.    Beautiful car!   I also have a 70 Challenger, but smaller motor (340).

Welcome.

Nice car you have.

Beautiful place you live in. Must be killer cruising around there.

I've been to Salzburg, Kaprun, Grossglockner, and one day I would like to see Vienna.

Welcome from  :canada:  My wife and I were in Wein 2 years ago and quite enjoyed it. Cool town and driving out in the countryside we found Lenz Moser winery!
