    Well, I have been kicking around the idea of LED tail lights, the old lenses on my cuda are tired and spider cracked.  Replacing them with a new set of OEM style tail lights would be about $400 and another $189 for the LED conversion. That's allot of money, and I don't really like the white reverse lenses on the second tail light either. This car is far from being a stock restoration and I really want something that would suit the build better.
     SO...I have decided to make my own set of LED tails using the original rear tail buckets. Should be easy to do, and I figure i cant loose since I should be able to make them for $100 total, minus my time of course. I will post some pics when I am done.

    Good luck with the LEDs! I have been thinking about doing the same thing on my 70 Challenger so am really looking forward to your photos and experiences.

    O.K, so here are some pics of the Cuda as it gets ready for the first coats of primer and then paint later today. Juan says he loves the Urekem primer and paint, incase you guys are looking for some color for your projects . After it gets paint  it comes back to me to install the new suspension, then back to Juan's for assembly and the final two coats, the custom striping and then the final clear.

    I will get some pics of it being painted and post them.

    Well, the body came back from paint today. There is no clear on the car yet, they didnt want to do that while I was installing the suspension in case they needed to do any touch ups. Now I just have to get to work and get the new suspension installed. I am VERY happy with the color. This is just what I envisioned.

    More pics to follow as I start installing stuff.

    Ohhh that's niiiice... love the color.   I could see some hockey stripes on that which would pop big time...

    Everything looks great! It will be great to see this finished. I like your SFCs, did you make them yourself? Nice and clean.

    Thank you, yes I made the SFCs myself. Turned out pretty good I think.

    O.K, so I finished up my LED tail lights for the Cuda. I really like the way the turned out, and man are they bright! It took some fabricating but the end result was that I moved the lights outward a little to make them more flush with the tail light bezels and achieved the look I was going for. In the one pic I put them in the tail panel to give you and idea of how they will look, they are just sitting loose in the pic, but you get the idea.

    Putting the rear end in the car today. Just about done. This is fun stuff to do, I love putting new prats in and watching everything come together.
