I can't wait to see this thing out in daylight with the clear on it. I'm really liking the color!

It's getting a satin clear, so it wont be super shiny and  deep. My vision for the car has always been kinda "bootleg tough" if that makes sense.

I will post more pictures maybe later today. The main body is done and the strip is painted on the rear quarter now. Turned out awesome.

O.K , Juan finished painted the strips on the rear quarter, unfortunately when we applied the final satin clear to the body it went blotchy. It's really hard to see in the pics, but it's there. Juan is going to have to wet sand the clear and re-shoot it in a couple weeks when he has time. Until then I brought it back to my shop and will be working on getting the Master cylinder installed along with some other items things I can do.

Looks good. I always like the Cuda backend with the round lights.

That looks so cool! Now I'm rethinking my choise of black..   that satin would look great with my black cloth top.

Nice build and damn quick I might add. I too am installing a Control Freak 4-link on my Cuda and love the quality and fit. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

Yeah I was very pleased with the quality of Control freaks stuff. Very well thought out and fit perfectly. So far the build has progressed fairly quick as you said, but the motor has to be built now...and that is slowing me down because of the cost involved. I have tried to ge ahead of the game by gathering new parts though. Hopefully by end of Summer it will be done. Thanks for watching the thread.

Well Look what showed up on my doorstep today. 2.9 Whipple supercharger with water to air innter-cooler. This should make the new 6.1 Hemi for the Cuda breath fire.

Nice!, a blower is on my wishlist for the future also. How did you build the engine, any change in compression for the blower?

Motor is a 6.1 with and all forged rotating assembly from  Modern performance, ARP studs on the heads and Mains, Custom grind blower camshaft, Sanders shorty 1-7/8 headers, stock Throttle body. I wanted to run pump fuel and the car is mainly a street car so Compression will be about 9.7 to 1 with about 12lbs of boost which should get us just over 600 to the rear wheels we want. This combo is one they have done before so they number should be no surprise.

Spent the day installing the new Electric-Life Window lit and the Auto-Loc door poppers. They went it easy compared to some I have done in the past.
Now to try figure out how to reinstall the rear window regulator.....man I wish I took more pics, LOL.

Well done, that's my ideal "step 2" after I shake down my build.

Nice! I will run mine stock for a while while saving up for a blower kit and an engine rebuild.
Nice job on soundproofing inside the door also, I bet that would make a huge difference. I got 2 sets on Noico coming in a container to Sweden soon.
