Challenger front parking light mounting hardware
« on: January 17, 2017 - 12:31:02 PM »
I am looking for all of the parking light screws for a Challenger. I need  the 3 that hold the assembly to the car and the 2 that holds the lens to the body.  I need both sides so in all I need 10 screws.  should be 3 different styles in all (4 lens to body, 4 lower body to valance and 2 upper body to valance.

I bought some really nice used bodies without the lenses and put new pigtails on them from PG Enterprises, but need the hardware.

thanks
Chris

R/T Specialties...or a local hardware store that has a big selection.

Rt Specialties has a kit for mounting parking lights (1000112), but they don't have the lens screws which are 1-1/4" long.  I would prefer original looking hardware over hardware store parts.  the search continues......

Hardware store parts with a Philips tapered head will look exactly like the stock ones.

The bottom two in the valance are tapered.

Not all hardware store bolts are generic junk.  The Ace Hardware that used to be in town had a huge selection of specialty fasteners.  You might have to cut a fastener to length but once installed, you can't tell the difference.  The end of a restoration can really be a pain.  A few missing nuts/bolts can cost a lot of money if you have to buy them and have them shipped to you.  You always end up missing something that you should have ordered.  That's when it helps to look at a local store.  You may find the exact thing you need...you might not.  Don't automatically dismiss the hardware store before you even look. :2cents:

manycj, our local Carquest has a great selection of fasteners. I've gotten stuff there that is exactly right. You're here in Ontario aren't you? I suspect all Carquest stores here will carry the same.
