Plum Crazy wall paint
« on: January 18, 2017 - 08:36:25 AM »
I am building a new shop, and i want to paint the wall where challenger is going to sit beside plum crazy purple, or as close to that as possible. Has anyone ever done this and if so, what paint brand did you use and what were the numbers to mix it. Any help is much appreciated, thanks in advanced

Just go to the hardware store(Menards/Lowes/The Home Depot) and grab some color samples that you think look close.  Then hold those samples up to your car to pick the one that is closest.  The hardware store should have multiple paint brands with color samples for each.  You shouldn't have any problem matching it.

I did that, nothing was close. I asked the paint lady and she would need an actual paint chip of the PcP

I went to home depot and got a quart of paint and did my garage doors. Nothing was a perfect match but you can find something pretty close.  Made a big difference in the whole look of my garage to.

I could possibly get a hood scoop insert, car is in storage for the winter and I don't think it's accessible anymore without getting people to move their vehicles. I might end up having to wait until spring to paint that wall, hoping someone might beable to help me with a paint code though
