73 Cuda proportioning valve

Looking for a proportioning valve for my 73 'Cuda.  It has front disc and power rear drum brakes.  I am running all new brake lines and hoses on the car and want to replace this as well.  My issue is, every site I go to doesn't seem to have one for a 73.  I've dug around here a bit but didn't find anything, so here's my question:

or is there another link/company that sells them?

I know the 2nd one is adjustable, which is not a necessity but for close to the same price, isn't it a better option?

Either should work, I have a Wilwood on my Challenger bc at the time I needed one I could not find a new one. If you are running a stock setup, just use the inline one and forget about it. If you want to adjust it, then the Wilwood will serve the purpose but you probably do not need that feature and it is one more thing to mess with.

Soak your valve in EvapoRust and disassemble it.  If it's been sitting "dry" for a long time, you might have problems getting out the large valve on the right side of the picture.  If the inside is still wet with brake fluid, it will come apart much easier.

On my original valve, I broke the piece on the right because it was rusted in place.  I had to find a replacement from another valve.  After that broke, I didn't try removing the other brass pieces.  I just cleaned everything out really good after an EvapoRust soak.  It still works fine.

I'm not considering rebuilding mine at the moment.  It's been sitting off the car for 5+ years and really isn't in the best shape either.

The price difference between the stock and adjustable one is only a dollar more for the adjustable style (that's including shipping).  Do you guys think it's worth it to get the adjustable one for basically the same price as a stock one?

if you are running a stock brake setup, run a stock P valve, one less thing to mess with. If you are planning to go to rear disc or something, then the adjustable might be warranted.

Dr.Diff sells a 1 piece proportioning valve. I put one in my Challenger last year. I went from front drums to discs. If you are interested I have a new one.
