72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

I was hoping that it gets to a thousand HP leaving the others in the dust.

Just saw a video last night that phase out of the 3 Gen HEMI will start around 2018. First to go will be the 5.7 and 6.2 last. I think the V8 revival era is coming to another end in a few years. Get one while you can.

If they can phase out the V8 then I can phase out new cars. My last new car was a 16 Challenger 5.7.

Remember the cryptic rear license plate on the back of the Demon in the promo pic?  Here is some speculative guesstimates for power on the new Demon:

License plate number was -  #2576@35

Could that be a 2576cc blower @ 35 inches mercury (about 17 PSI Boost)?  That would be close to 850 HP.
