70 Sublime Challenger
« on: February 05, 2017 - 01:19:52 AM »
Bought a Sublime 70 Dodge Challenger. It is a Original sublime green slant six car.Was wondering if anybody has any idea how many of these were produced?Bench seat column shift. It also has a extra tag attached to the fender tag that has what looks to be like an H punched in it.Any ideas? One more question.

The little tag, usually attached under one of the fender tag screws, is probably an inspector's tag. Post a picture and we can verify.

You made a cool buy on the car.
Slant six Challengers are getting harder to find because everyone converts them over to big V-8s
I would personally keep it as a six. You have to love the sublime paint.  It will be unique if you restore it as delivered (maybe with some brake and suspension upgrades)

You could make it into a very cool economy driver that would be much cooler then the rice burners running around.
What are your plans for the car?

Great looking project! Do you know if you have a JH23 Hardtop there - or a JH23 A93 Coupe?

There were around 282 JH23 Slant 6 Sublime Hardtops shipped to the US Marketplace.

There were around 62 JH23 Slant 6 A93 Sublime Coupes shipped to the US Marketplace.

Scott.

In other cars it defines whether there is a 'B' pillar or not. Coupe has a "B" pillar.

To further clarify
A pillar = windshield post
B pillar = center door post.
C pillar = rear window post
Removing the warning labels one at a time.
Nature will take care of the rest.
