We are a little farther along than the pics show.  Motor has been started and the final touches are nearly done there.  Doors, fenders and hood will be hung this week
and the RT stripes will be going on as well.  Interior appointment is the first week of April.  After that it'll just be the little things.  4 years on this project and we are finally
seeing light at the end of the tunnel!!

Welcome Steve please tell us about your ride  :aussie:

1971 Challenger RT 383 magnum with a 727.  Numbers matching car, original color Green Go and I am the second owner.

Bought it out of a barn for $1000 in 1987 and drove it home after putting a battery in it.  Drove it my senior year and began racing it ( 13.5's 13.7's ) on the street and strip in 1988 and 89.  Spun a rod bearing and had it rebuilt and heated up a bit in 1990. Was running high 11's ( 11.54 @123mph best ) and made some $$$ on the street n strip. Went in the Corps in 1991 and money was scarce at best so she began to sit in 1993.  Still drove it a bit through the years and in 2000 ( post marines ) I began tearing her down for a full resto.  Unfortunately I lost my job in 2001 and had to stop.  Now the car is sitting for another 12 years and it took a heavy toll on it!!  Late 2012 I found the money and the body man to get things goin and here we are in early 17 nearing the end of a 4 year journey.
