Old School Mopar Guy
« on: February 11, 2017 - 11:07:54 AM »
Hello from Aurora, IL. As the subject line say's I'm just an old school Mopar guy. But I'm still interested. Started with a '66 Sport Fury way back in HS '75. Been practically all Mopar ever since. I've owned a couple E-bodies '70 B'cuda & '71 RT Chal. Also partnered racing a '71 'cuda in the (Lol) good ole days for a short time.

TIA for allowing me to nose around!
Dave

Welcome
I too am old school and reminisce about the good old days (plenty of Mopars around at a low price-especially during the gas shortages)
Wish I had one or two of the cars I let go!

Thank you all for the welcome!

Not many $300-$400 E-bodies around anymore! If we knew then what we know now.
The '71 RT Challenger, 340 auto, cost me a whopping $360 in 1979. I was concerned with paying that price at that time as I was into big blocks. Did it anyway. Six months later I traded it even up for a '69 Barracuda S (383 car originally) with a 440, 4spd, with some nose damage. DUH!

Welcome from NC.

My first new car was a 70 Chally with slant six, 3 on the floor, PS, Radio, white walls and wheel covers.    I loved that car..    traded it in for a new 72 Charger with air conditioning...   it was a hot day...

Wish I still had both of them !!
