Hagarty lists the value of a 73 Barracuda/Cuda as follows:
#1 Concours $39,500
Condition #1 vehicles are the best in the world. The visual image is of the best vehicle, in the right colors, driving onto the lawn at the finest concours. Perfectly clean, the vehicle has been groomed down to the tire treads. Painted and chromed surfaces are mirror-like. Dust and dirt are banned, and materials used are correct and superbly fitted. The one word description for #1 vehicles is "concours."
#2 Excellent$33,600
#3 Good$24,000
#4 Fair$17,000
From the picture it looks like a Barracuda, not Cuda (emblem on back) Cuda model would have an edge on price.
A lot of factors to consider:
- Original 340 car and engine/drivetrain will raise the price
- Condition of the frame/floors, trunk etc A lot of metal work will decrease the price
- Does the car run?
- Is it a 4 speed-that will increase the price
- A project can be bought for as low as 5K, a driveable car in need of restoration might go for the "Fair" price of 17K. The 17k would be on the very high end for a car in this visible condition.
From the pictures and without a lot of information, I would guesstimate the value at 7-12K if you could get the car running and streetable in a short amount of time.
Good luck with what you decide to do.
