What would you pick? US Mags set is a lot cheaper than Year One ($674 vs $1112).

I think I like the us mags they have a cleaner look.   Rims always come down to personal preference.

I think before I vote, I need to know one thing... Are you resto-modding this car with 4 wheel disc brakes?  The wheels honestly look so similar there isn't much difference.  So, I'm asking because you will want to show off your rear disc brakes if you have them.  I had 4WDisc on my '65 Mustang with Magnums and honestly you cannot see the brakes at all.  They only have a little rectangle to peak thru the wheel to see rotors.  If you have the 4Wdiscs then I'd go with the modern more open wheel.
My 2 cents.
Phil

Yes, I am resto-modding. Right now I have drum brakes all 'round and 14" Magnum wheels. I was thinking of upgrading to 11" disc brakes so I can drive on 14" wheels until I decide to invest in new wheels and tyres, but I spoke to my mechanic and the guys from Moparshop.de (I'll be buying the dics brakes set there) and they both recommended I go for 12" brakes. That means I have to upgrade the wheels too.

So yes, I want to show off the brakes.  :bigshades:

Then it looks like an easy answer to your question.  Magnum 500s you won't see brakes.  Looks like you choose US Mags!  :)

I have US Mags on my Cuda and they are really good quality.  Like most things YO sells, they are ridiculously overpriced.

Agree they are very over price, but a thought.  Each Christmas they have a sale on the entire kit and shipping.  If you can wait, this would be a befit.  I like them better, and this is my plan.

Wheels are more dynamic than just looks.  I like the look of both, but it you want to see the rear disks, use the more open design.  The openness will allow heat and air to escape to keep your brakes cooler.  I would also look into the weight of each wheel.  Lighter wheels have less sprung weight that can result in faster acceleration.  The low weight will allow the wheel and suspension to track the road better over rough surfaces and let your springs and shocks work in their tuned range.  Heavier wheels can overwhelm low end or well used stock components.

Are you sure about the discount? I wanted to take the opportunity, but the wheels were discount exempt. Shipping is free, but I have been following their newsletters and discounts for the past 2 years and I have never seen them giving discounts on wheels.
