Very cool. I saw that hemicuda in Baytown several years ago before it was sold. I was a show judge at the lone star shootout. Nice car.

Quick question I was wondering if you can replace the trunk floor pan without removing the rear taillight panel?

Depends on whether you buy a one piece trunk pan or two piece.  With a one piece pan you pretty much have to remove the tail panel.  I used a two piece for mine, but removed the tail panel anyway since we ended up replacing the quarters after-all.  Good luck with your build.  :2thumbs:

I thought that I've seen a full trunk floor inserted through the tail panel when you remove that 4 inch angled piece connecting the floor to the tail panel.

I will be getting the whole trunk floor pan. I think I might have found a way to do it without taking out the tail light panel

Tear down the front end of the cuda today. It's a pretty solid car up front. I do need to get a new front core support tho.

I got my sheet metal in that I order. Now time for the fun part cleaning up 40 years plus of road grime and rusty :cooldancing: . I also took out the rest of the trunk pan I'm still debating if I should replace the tail light panel.

It's been a while since I did a update on my project. I was working on my garage and getting some air tools. Now I'm back on the cuda. I finish removing the passenger side outer well wheel which was a pain.

I also been working on my trunk floor and drop off pans. I also have a question how did u take off that piece of trim on the tail light panel that i have circled in red. I also have my 74 cuda grill for sale in going with a 71 cuda front end.

That trim piece has bolts with special clip/heads that engage the u-shaped part of the trim.  The studs with nuts are accessible from inside the trunk.
