I was researching some new headers and came across this site, seems to be a friendly place so I joined. I've got a 73 Challenger Rally that we got in 92, was a 318 car but we pulled that the next year and put in a 440 Mag that the oldest son, wife and I raced for 3 years. Then I built a 70 440 SixPack for it and the wife, youngest and middle sons (mostly wife) took turns racing it until 01 when it got parked and only drove once a year just to keep it from going too down hill from just sitting, last summer got it out to use as a daily driver.

Mostly at Thunder Valley in Marion, SD, but have been to Scribner, NE, took it along to the 96 Mopar Nats in Indy. It's brought home it's share of shiny plastic, even a class championship one year and runner up another year.

I've been kinda Jones'n for a new SRT and then thought "I've got one in the garage that is just as much fun to drive, and I found it gets more attention from most everyone (grade school kids included), gets just as bad of gas mileage (about 8 mpg) and it's paid for!" It's no where near a show car and not worth a heck of a lot anyway, so lets drive it and have some fun.....after all that's why they were built and why we bought them.

Good times and quarter century of history with your whole family involved.
