I am also running a 600 Edelbrock on the 73 Cuda 340. Took it out of the box , bolted it on, cranked the motor and set the idle adjustment. That was it. Starts great, runs great.

I love my 650cfm Edelbrock Thunder AVS. It may not make the most power, but it runs very well, no leak drama when making adjustments and it is very dependable.

I just put a 625 street demon on my 340. Best money spent on the car, performance wise.

I had a Thermoquad which ran ok but since the car was apart I lent it to a friend and he has since moved away.  I guess I never really expected to get it back.  It's what you do for a friend.

750 edelbrock

Back to the original topic, I'd suggest the 625 unless you are running more than 3.55 rear gear. Then 750. That is my plan for when the OD trans and 4.11s go in. But I'm never going back to the old carb.
