Venting can be done elsewere.
i agree to a certain extent, but everyone on this website is so close, sumtimes to "vent" to you people here is very helpful due to all the opinions and kindness we give when we help someone out.

Im with u on this one Rev. Id rather keep it nice and safe here, and friendly. Venting can be done elsewere.

I'm back, had a cigarette or two.

Look, I'm not trying to cause any trouble you should know this by now. REV sorry if I offended you in anyway, I'm truely sorry.
You do a great job and if I'm wrong I am always man enough to except that. I just wish the moderators could, perhaps ease up a liitle?

This is not "venting" BIG difference, it's debating, venting is ...ummm what Mike did to let the board know he won't be back, now thats vernting!!!  This is a debate ammoung fellow members (friends). Oo course if things get out of hand close it down ASAP, but read the posts make sure it's not a DEBATE (not "venting") before a thread is locked. Thats all I ask.........................

I stand behind Laura's decisions.  Shes proven herself a fantastic mod, so what she says goes.  the iraq thread made me nervous right from the get go.  the topic is just too volatile.  free speech is one thing, but the mods and I agree on a set of ideals that we stand by, not least of which is no personal attacks allowed.  Laura felt, and I agree, that the thread in question was heading in a non productive direction, and small tiffs we're starting.  If she didn't close it I wouldve.  The mods only do what they feel is best for the board.

Glad to see you back friend.     This was probably only the 3rd thread I've ever locked, so I don't think I could ease up much more.   :grinno:  Just trying to keep the peace.

I, I cap-in!!  ;) Your board your rules, I respect that.  :grinyes: :grinno: :grinyes:

Just hope that if something good pops up (a neutral topic) and it's a debate thats "leagal" as such it remains open.

While your here, if someone else pops into a thread and wrecks it for everyone else, why not warn him instead off telling us to be quite like little kids?  :-\ Yes, it is I who was "told off" but it was not me who started it or incouraged it, yet I got blammed?  :dontknow:

I would hardly say you were "told-off".  It was directed at both of you.  And yes, he started it and shouldn't have.  Can we stop arguing now?

Thanks, thats what I needed to hear. I don't start stuff like that.
But I guess I should have just ignored him huh?  :grinyes: Sometimes it's hard to.  :)

Can we stop "arguing" now? Most definitely REV.

Excuse me fine folks...

Isn't this all about Cudas, Challengers, and cars in general???? OK, a few occasional jokes, but why all the political/religious crap??? I think most of us tune in here to get away from all of that.  :dontknow:

in my experience, political topics over the internet always go bad, and usually go bad quick.  we dont mind consturctive debating, but unfortunately it very rarely happens.  i think the mods and i would be much more comfortable if politics and religion wasnt discussed at all.
