« on: March 10, 2017 - 11:37:14 AM »
Should the ignition wire brackets mounted on the engine painted or not?
I have bought a new kit but they are bare metal... not sure what color they were OEM style

If your looking for OE level detail the brackets were painted with the engine & the plug wires were installed while the paint was drying so when you pull original plug wires off an engine there is paint transfer from the brackets to the wires...

However, there was a big thread on another site about 340 six pak details.  I guess some T/As and AARs came with bare plastic looms. :dunno:

I have my doubts.... You really think Chrysler is gonna change a standard process for "some" T/A's ?
