Looking for longer shocks for an E Body (No airshocks please)

I'm looking for a pair of rear shocks for my e body that are about 1-2" longer than stock (Dont want airshocks)

Back in the day I used to hear that a set of rear shocks that fit a mid or late '70 Monaco (?) is a direct fit for an E body, except they are about 1 or so inches longer

Can anyone verify the above info or recommend a set?

Shocks don't raise the rear.

Well, Thats good piont now that you mention it: I guess I need shackle block extensions instead

Shackle block extensions? You need longer shocks because why?

Get some mid 70s D100 rear shocks.

Longer shocks are necessary for use with SS springs because they create greater body separation. Whether the OP needs them for this or not, I don't know. One of the hot tickets back several decades ago was to use Rancho RS9000 adjustable truck shocks on the rear of your drag car.

That's why I ask the question.
For all we know the OP is adding a leaf, re-arching, or going SS. He/She certainly don't want the stock shock bottoming due to shock extensions.
