FiTech throttle linkage, what's needed?
« on: March 19, 2017 - 03:41:29 PM »
Any other FiTech fuel injection converts?

What did you do for the throttle body linkage connections?  I currently have an Edlebrock carb with the Mopar adapter bracket.  My car is an auto and I have the Bouchillon KD set-up/bracket for the tranny.  I'm wondering what is needed.

I used a Holley bracket, it's very close, filed one hole about 1/8" toward center & ground away material that interfered with the throttle shaft..  Do not use your stock throttle spring, the one on the FiTech unit is all you need...

Appreciate the input,
Do you have a PN?
Any pics of the installation?

Great pics, I can see what's needed.
Still hard to believe FiTech doesn't offer something.

Thx!

It's so close to the Holley it's not a problem & honestly I've seen a number of other minor issues that show the designers familiarity with late model cars (like the heavy spring they put on the throttle shaft) & much less with vintage muscle.... Besides probably 50-75% of guys who are running Mopars have background with GM so they don't know about the need for a throttle adapter to match Mopar's kick down linkage..
