Mickey Thompson valve covers.
« on: March 24, 2017 - 06:19:08 PM »
Got a set of MT's for my sb and I'm wondering if the breathers on these are worth a crap?

I've never seen these MT breathers before on any car with MT valve covers.

Wow, I've got M/T's on mine and I've never seen a breather like that! They look like they're just to keep the oil from splashing out.  :dunno:

If don't let oil out, and do a good job venting, then I'd keep them.
The baffling underneath is probably the key to whether or not they work well.

Well, they obviously go with the covers.  I think they are awesome original vintage pieces you just don't see very often.  Polish them with the covers and enjoy! :2thumbs:
