New to the forum
« on: April 01, 2017 - 08:22:11 PM »
Hello, my names Dallas and I'm new to the forum. I just acquired my 73 barracuda after years of hunting a good solid project. I found the forum while trying to hunt some parts. I've been doing some reading and there's lots of good info. I've got a couple questions if you don't mind... Where does everyone get most of their parts that are vehicle specific? I've been able to find stuff with classic industries but not much anywhere else. Also, (apologies if it's off subject for this thread) I'm trying to find a drivers door latch mechanism because the spring that kicks the latch back up is broken, it doesn't look like it can be replaced because of the way the assembly is made. Thanks for the help!

Roseville Moparts has been my primary source of parts for several years.  If they have it, it's good stuff. If you're looking for something specific that you can't find, just throw out a post and my bet is that someone here will be able to guide you.

Welcome. I'm new also and just got a 1973 Cuda myself. I found lots of parts new and used on eBay. There you often have a chance to shop for price and/or condition.

For parts I have used Ebay a lot, especially when seeking used.   Also, this forum.   New, I used combo of Rock Auto, classic industries, Year One and Roseville.  Just about everything is available..tho some of the prices are ridiculous.    Example:  I needed a new middle speaker radio cover..   Its a piece of easily made plastic...$65 ridiculous!!
