Rally Cluster Clock stem removal
« on: April 06, 2017 - 11:19:06 AM »
Hello to group!

I need to remove the clear plastic lens from a Rally instrument cluster.  What is the procedure to remove the clock stem that adjust the time.  The lens does not fit over the stem and therefore it needs to be removed.  The stem is part of the clock and not the earlier version outside the clock.  Thank you very much!

OK well I'm going to answer it myself. There is a tiny screw inside the hollow stem so with a jewels screw driver I was able to unscrew it and viola! Thanks for listening!

lets see reading glasses in my pocket, on the work bench, at my computer desk and I have various magnifing glasses at the work bench. Also extra lighting devices. A little advice on reading glasses, get a pair that work to about 36 inches vs. up close. This will help when working under the car.
