Water Pump Hookup for a 6.1 Hemi with 5.7 Hemi front end
« on: April 06, 2017 - 10:16:56 PM »
I have a 6.1 Generation III Hemi which I think has a 5.7 Hemi front end section from a truck. The alternator and AC is located up high. Both of the heater hose connections are located down low on the passenger side. One connection is silver while the other connection is a black tube which runs up to the top of the pump.  I need to know which line is considered the water pump and which one is the intake.

I am plumbing my driver's side water pump tube > Vintage Air heater valve > Heater Core

That's what my researched showed, the passenger side tube should be a "return" back to the engine.
