Personally, I like 69 Camaros, but I'm not sure that I like where they're going with this Demon. The flares put me off and, if I had the money, I wouldn't buy one of these. I know the HP is enormous, but that's not the be all and end all for me. Just my

I am sure there is some form of a liability constraint here, I have no doubts the people who offer aftermarket cages will be ready-to-go.

All the Demon headlines talk about fastest production car in the world which is not technically correct. I see posts where people calling it quickest but not fastest.

They are using the 1/4 as the bench mark not the top speed.  It is the fastest production car in the world in the 1/4 mile.  I garauntee their lawyers did their HW on that claim before they made it their major marketing line

Rear seat is literally a $1 option, so I imagine most people will get it, and just take it out for track day.  Also, hagerty partnered with dodge to be the official insurer for the Demon lol whatever that means

I suppose you can at least get one run down the track before they call you out. There are plenty of cars doing 11s passes without rollcage and not taken out off the track. Depends whos looking?

In the land of NHRA, any car that runs under 11.99 in the 1/4 must have a cage and safety upgrades. One can, however, wonder if there's not a lawyer in the woodpile somewhere.

The letter from NHRA stated a car that goes under 10 seconds OR over 135mph in the quarter needs a cage.  If it was 11.99 every hellcat, viper, ZR1 Bette, and ZL1 camaro would need a cage, along with all the Ferraris and lamborghinis etc
