Are you actually thinking of getting a dog or was it just to post the photo?  :dontknow:

I'm never getting another dog after the one I have now. It's OK if your've got a home and family etc but being young and going out a lot it's a hassle to organise food, people to do it etc. Can't leave the house for more than 2 nights. Fun most of the time though.... :)

But now he has two lumps under is left leg, vet time.... :ack:

NZ, I hope you dog is alright.  Ya know, maybe you can find a good, reputable boarding kennel facility if you ever got another dog.  I manage one and the dogs are really happy there.  I don't know if you have any near you but you should check it out and see if that is an option.  Keep us posted on your fury friend after you find out about the lumps.  Hopefully they are just fatty tissue lumps.

Thank you April.  :) I think there "sists"(?) like two little golf ball sized lumps. I was pating him and felt it....WTF!!  :o :ack:
He'll be fine, tough as nails sheep dog.  ;) I couldn't leave him at a Dog kennel. Two reasons, I'd feel bad and he'd probably attack everything.

I've heard some dogs pine themself to death becuase they miss their owners that much.  :'(

I always heard that stuff too, but now that i have worked in a couple of them I know that isn't true.  As long as you find a place with a friendly, dedicated staff your dog should be fine.  I would always tour the facility first, meet the emplyees and take a good look at the dogs that are there during your tour.  You will be able to tell if the dogs staying there are happy or not.  I actually chjanged my profession because I couldn't leave my dogs either.  They are my kids and I had to know everything that went on 24/7 t the kennel before I would leave them anywhere!

I don't know if I will actuallty talk to them on the phone while I am at Carlisle, but I am sure I will call and check up on them everyday.  I am going to drive my boss crazy (he is dogsitting for me at his house).
