reconnecting the speedometer cable to Rallye Dash
« on: April 24, 2017 - 09:23:38 PM »
Just wondering if I need to do any type of lubrication or anything before reconnecting the speedo cable.  It has always worked and never had any issues with it but now is the time to do any pre maintenance on it while I have the instrument panel out. - thanks!!

PS: Just installed Roseville repro Tach. Very happy with it. It calibrated perfectly and looks great. :woohoo:

Easier to grease it now than wish you'd greased it later..... slide it out, lightly apply white grease reinstall...

Yep, with the proviso that there's no old, caked grease still in the jacket. If there is, clean it out first before reinstalling the inner.
