Borgeson or Firm Feel Steering Box?

My post isn't of much value, but I bought a Borgeson box for my 3Gen Hemi Cuda swap. It needed some shipping but looks to be pretty nice. I do not have any miles on it and bought from Jegs.

I fitted a Borgeson box to my 72 about 2 years ago. Tighter steering ratio & better feel over original, can't compare to firm feel as I have no experience of their products.
If you do go that way, make sure you spring a little extra for the custom Bergman steering coupler, so you don't have to cut/modify your original steering shaft, makes the whole fit-up pretty painless.
 
Works especially well on yellow 72 cuda's.

  I actually went with the U-joint. I have a contingency plan to add a steering quickener in the future and wanted the flexibility. The weight reduction of the Borgeson box is quite nice as well...makes it easier when you have to smash your headers for it to fit.  But that's the aftermarket build life.

Don't bother with shimming the pump valve. That was a article in an old Mopar magazine. I did it. Didn't work vary well. I tried different shim thickness but didn't like the results at all. I didn't think it made much or a difference. I even tried an old police box I got at the auto parts store. That was no different at all. I went with the Firm Feel Stage 3. Expensive but way better than any of the cheap shortcuts. You will not be sorry you spent the money.
