Not much history on the car, I got it from the second owner. Was supposed to have been sold new in Queens or Nassau County Long Island.  It's a 70 convertible, 318 3-speed manual with factory AC. Originally purple, white top and interior, only options besides AC were buckets/console, power top and radio.
When I got it it had been repainted white with and the top and interior were changed to tan. I used it as a daily driver year round for about 2 years then stashed it in a garage until recently. It will need a fair amount of rust repair being an east coast car but not too bad overall. It will be a fun cruiser when it's done. I'm not cloning it to a cuda but it will have an upgraded drive train. I'm sure Alan will post some progress pics once the ball gets rolling on this so stay tuned!

Hey Randy! Glad to see you are still enjoying the Challenger. It was awesome to see that car in person at Mopars North of the Gate.... I think that was around 2005, man time flies!

I'm happy to still be enjoying it...  Now that you've contacted Alan it looks like you'll be having a similar experience in a couple weeks...  That North of the Gate show was alway to dang hot... Would have been nice if they had chosen a location with an ocean view, and a breeze...
