906 single head for 440
« on: May 16, 2017 - 02:17:19 PM »
Pretty much what the topic says. Due to crack to my current one, i ask if someone sells a single stock 906 head casting. Checked for cracks and good valve guides and threads. Need someone who can ship worldwide. Thanks

 :iagree:

I have a set you could have but the shipping would make you have second thoughts for sure. There was a member looking for a dash frame and I told him he could have it, just pay for the shipping. Sit down, and hold on. It was over $800 to ship it. He decided he did not need it and honestly, I don't think I could have sent it without having regrets, even with him paying the bill. Anything going across the pond is big money unless you have a way to ship via importer and a container.

Be patient and look for something closer. Have you had a good machinist look to see if it is repairable?

Good luck on this one.

He looked at it and said he can't do it, because it has such long crack lines in the exhaust runners, that they get close to the valve guides, he won't be able to make good work and it is almost sure that it will leak again
Nothing in Europe until yesterday and i say yesterday because i already bought a set of 906 heads from Ebay for 150$. Of course shipping in 230$, the heads will need cleaning/resurfacing.
