Not a Hellcat or Demon, but still fun to drive
« on: May 21, 2017 - 09:32:41 AM »
Working for a car dealer sometime has its advantages. Yesterday was one of those days. I was finely able to drive the 2017 Shelby GT 350 Mustang back from a local car show. The car usually sits on the showroom floor with only serious buyers getting a chance at the wheel. The only sad thing is I had to drive it "nice".

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

As for now, the only flat plane crank is in the Shelby GT350 Mustang. The current Coyote 5.0 is a traditional cross plane. My thoughts are that they will remain that way due to the fact that flat planes are noted for vibration issues which in turn can cause longevity problems. So, not he best for a daily driver.

hard to believe a vibration problem could not be solved?
