Touchy steering

 I've upgraded the steering in my car and have been driving it for 5 years. It is waaay better than stock but I'm wondering what I would need to do to improve more.  As it is the steering feels " touchy " at speeds over 30 mph.  Only a slight turn of the wheel gets a fairly aggressive response.
 Here's my setup

 Firm feel box stage 2
Tubular uppers
.96 torsion
1 1/8 hollow front torsion
Qa1 shocks
17" rubber on front, 18" on back
5.0 caster, can't remember camber
No rear swaybar
Stock power steering pump

Touchy makes me think of toe out issue.. think it SB +1/8"

 I'll dig out alignment specs but I was wondering if the pump pressure could cause this. I'll definitely be checking into that.  Thanks

Did you use the stock length pitman and idler arms when you redid everything or change things up for a faster ratio? I seem to recall other posts where folks warn that "touchiness" is a side effect at higher speeds with fast ratio arms. If not this, then I agree that it sounds like toe in isn't quite right.

Agree with the above. Typically fast ratio and/or toe out tend to cause this. However, depending on how you define touchy, it could be  pressure. We have had previous posters who complained about touchy stock steering when they meant the over-assist inherent in Mopar steering. Certainly the Firm Feel box should assist with this, but at stock pressure with the Firm feel box and high caster, it still may not feel like a late model.

BTW, toe should be .125" total toe in. Or somewhere around .5 degrees with a 26" tire. Positive toe is in, negative is out.

Well crap.... I can't find the alignment sheet anywhere.   
 I went for a 3 hour highway cruise yesterday and one part of the highway was in terrible shape. It sees a lot of heavy traffic so it's dished out if you know what mean.   My car hated that, it would jump from one side to the other, I mean white knuckle driving.

Tramlining. Not uncommon on badly rutted roads when you have wider tires.

Especially with 17,s less side wall means more road feel.

I have a very similar suspension build as your but I ride 15" tires. After aligning to 2005-2009 mustang got specs, the car handled great.

I'm going to try dropping the pump pressure, if that doesn't work I'll have the alignment checked.

Did you ever figure this out with your pump pressure? I'd describe my steering the same. Stock parts. Rounding a corner under light throttle and out of no where shoot over like it was over assisting the turn. Scary stuff. I picked up upper control arms and stage III box from firm feel, had a full alignment done. Same thing still. Feels like it wants to over assist the steering out of the blue. Only happens under certain conditions. Still trying to pin it down, but mostly under engine load and rounding a turn under accelleration. I'm afraid to even change lanes on the highway. The tires will momentarily screech when it pulls me.

Turns out my lower control arms were shot. Swapped em out with Tubes, strut bars, and QA1 shocks. Drives like a dream now. May want to look into yours as well.
