News:
Couldn't the car be an SE car with the L code 383 2 barrel engine but not an RT? I could see people adding the emblems and maybe the current owner got the car without ever realizing what he bought
Actually yes it was an option You could order a Challenger sleeper Sleepy Chall is a member here with one !They were a full on R/T with performance , suspension etc with ralley gauges but with V8 badging flat hood nothing to give it away externally
True the hood was part of the R/T Pkg unless you ordered a sleeper & yes Ralley gauges were std on R/Ts & Sleepers unlike Cuda
So, here is one of the other links to the same car. If you click to the ninth picture you will see that the dash is a standard dash, not a rallye.http://usedcarsio.com/dodge-for-sale/67417-1970-dodge-challenger-383-rtse-survivor.html
I'd sure like to see some documentation....
Okay, finely looks like I have this nailed as a scam. Found the car listed and sold on eBay close to a year and a half ago. Looked at the sellers feedback, and the buyer said he would not meet with him in person to pick up the car, and wanted to money wired. I went ahead and reported it to eBay to investigate.http://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-Dodge-Challenger-383-RT-SE-SURVIVOR-/221952838154
