Sorry I did not give any background in my initial comment.

I am restoring a 68 Hemi GTX and I am in the final stages of acquiring an e-body (stay tuned on that).

Here is the GTX, previous owner owned for almost 40 years.  All original sheet metal, all original everything except the wheels and stereo (original unit came with the car).

These pics are before I started the restoration.

WElcome!

That GTX needed a restoration?   That is a beautiful ride!

I know, I know.  It appears great in pictures, but the car has sat for a long time.  It needs TLC and detail work, but not a major overhaul.

Hey Scott, Welcome the best E body forum ever, we want to see more pictures as work continues on your GTX,  will  you be doing the restoration? at least you will have an E body to drive while your doing the GTX.

Thanks Don.  Yes I will be doing the restoration, I will update as progress is made.  Unfortunately it is taking a backseat to another car ('66 Chevelle) I am working on for my uncle while I build out more space on the barn.
