triple stamped core support numbers

Anyone ever seen the core numbers stamped three times?

Nice! If you saw the tool used to accomplish the stamping you'd see how that happened....   Kind of like a nail gun, it should only drive one nail, but if the trigger hangs it'll rapid fire 2-4 nails real quick....

I have seen a partial double stamp, but this one bests it by a mile. Cool.  :cheers:

When I first saw it I thought someone was faking a 440 'Cuda but then I noticed it was the correct numbers.  Trying to buy this car from an old crazy man.  I"ll start a thread in member's rides or something if I get it.

 :iagree: They say that the metal lettering was being flattened out during the continuous process and they replaced it, but that's why we see sometimes withered out lettering on our e bodies or parts numbers. Really cool!
