Heater system without air
« on: June 04, 2017 - 09:10:23 PM »
At this point I am missing everything for my car! I need a full heater box for a car without A/C, heater core, switch, cables, heater motor, everything! I see a lot of people sell the small parts but I can't find the whole inner box. Anybody have one or know if they're repopped?

I could use a diagram if someone has one.  I don't know where to start with the parts list. I do have both vent boxes and the plastic defroster parts under the dash.

They get kinda pricey. I have sold restored boxes for $500. There was a couple guys on eBay doing the same. You're really better off doing that rather than cobbling together a list of pieces. Some of the parts like inner flapper doors are nearly impossible to find.

I was afraid of that. Nothing online I can find right now... I guess I'll just keep looking

Depending on your timeline, I have a 1972 non-A/C cuda heater box and all the controls pulled out of my car. I went to Vintage Air.

I would need to get together all of the bits and pieces, but I should have it all to sell. I'd need a few weeks before I could get to that.

As far as I know, they are all the same. I've redone many over the years and the only difference I've ever found is the early versions of the fan cage are aluminum and they switched to plastic.
