Yeah, it appears hurricane Cindi will visit us.  :stomp:  Late Thursday into Friday could bring a couple of inches of rain. Glad I cleaned up my car.  :dupe: :dupe: :dupe:

The he!! with it, this only comes once a year, so I'm bringing the 71 hemi car. It's not like it's a show poodle anyway, it's just a driver. Just have to make up some foam blockoffs for the shaker so as not to suck in water. see you all there!

There are still a lot of people not going, plus April and maybe some other people are bringing laptops, so you should get lots of good pics.

At least the temps are supposed to be cooler.   Everybody have a safe trip, looking forward to meeting you all.

Don't worry folks, that tropical storm will only cool off the temps. up in central Pa. the mountain range (north -south) will divert the threat of rain to the east south east, now if it had been a little further west we could have been in "duck soup". I have a sister Cindy, boy they named this one right, lol.

From looking at the pics that were taken Saturday, it appears the weather was nice for at least part of the day.

It was beautiful most of Friday and all of Saturday- almost too beautiful- im lucky i didn't get burned- ;D  but yea- Sunday on the way home- we were washed out-The storm from Hurricane Dennis had reached GA. It wasn't pretty. So the beautiful weather at Carlisle just added to the feeling that i wanted to go back and see everyone again!

No complaints, a dry trip over, started raining about 15 minutes after we arrived at the motel, rained all night and until about 9:00 Friday morning, the gang hung around the parking lot, saw a little blue peeping through, uncovered the cars and wiped them down and headed for the show around noon.............and as 4C said, blue sky and sun shine the rest of the time. Our trip home Sunday was dry all the way back to Ohio, still haven't got any rain, but the forcast looks wet. But that's good, we sure need the rain here, just so dry, the yards looks like dry straw stubble.

The best part of the travel was that we never saw any accidents either direction, did hear of an accident at one of the motels involving a couple cars however, but no one was hurt.
