Nylon fuel lines

Has anyone got any experience, tips or tricks when replacing a full front to rear fuel line from original to nylon? I bought a roll of line & some quick connects... then thought a pre-bent line would be better. I had to cut the old one out in several sections to get it through the chassis...that's why I thought the nylon would save some torture of getting the new full line in. I was about to order a pre-bent line when I realized shipping is as much as the part! So I'm back to asking for advice on using nylon. That is: best way to attach to fuel pump & tank, getting the 90 degree angles, & padding at the pass through the chassis.
Anyone been through this?

Steel or stainless steel for lines. Don't even use aluminum on a street car. The aluminum can work harden from the vibrations and crack. Fine Lines recently had a free shipping offer. Maybe they will have that again. If you or someone you know is going to a major show, a few companies show up with lines. They will ship for free if you buy at the show.

I'm guessing you saw the post about the guy wanting steel lines but shipping costing as much as the lines... What you may not have seen is the guy lives in France... Shipping inside the US is reasonable, fact is I found a company that offered free shipping.... Unfortunately they stoped that deal... But keep your eyes open it might return...

I guess one solution is to fill up my shopping cart until i reach the 'free shipping' amount.
so it sounds like no one has dealt with nylon lines...I have found it difficult to find any tips with installing a full front to rear nylon line...perhaps it's just not done?!

I've used nylon lines on plenty of fuel injected stuff, I'll be using it on my Falcon... I just think steel will look cleaner & be more damage resistant...

OE nylon lines have heat set bends so they follow the floor contours, bulk nylon line just sort of goes loosely where you route it.... I've had some success putting in bends with a tubing bender & boiling water but it's a PITA & time consuming.... Installing fittings requires special tools (which I have) you can probably find videos on You tube offering tips but my tip is I prefer steel..

After some more research & the majority of the opinions being to just get steel lines, I found what I needed with cheaper shipping. Just gonna chalk the purchase of the nylon as a hasty decision. Maybe I can use it in a craft project

Sell your nylon line on eBay maybe even try Craigslist
