front end sag
« on: June 19, 2017 - 03:19:19 PM »
hey guys I just finished installing the hotchkis suspension kit and I set my torsion bars to my ride height but when I can back I noticed the car sagged about an inch and a half. could my torsion bars be wore out or is this something else. I raised the front end again in hope that it just need to sit for a bit  with everything being new.  the bars are what was on the car when I bought it.

Thanks

Are the bars new/Hotchkis or "old"?

What parts did you install?

After you put the car back on the ground, did you bounce the front end or not?  You need to adjust the torsion bars with the wheels off the ground.  Lower the car back onto its wheels and bounce the front end.  Then check your heights.  Also, I hope you loosened the LCA pivot pin nuts before adjusting the ride height.  If not, loosen them now.  Only tighten those nuts AFTER the ride height is set.
