Hello. Does anyone know who or where I can go to to get the shaker and shaker hood installed on a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda or 1970 Dodge Challenger? Also can someone please tell me if the mechanics around today can perform maintenance and fix a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda or 1970 Dodge Challenger.

There are mechanics out there that can work on older cars. I have one that only works on classics. He works on my 70 Challenger when I don't have time or the project is above my knowledge. He is not cheap but is a perfectionist in all the does. Worth every $.

I'm on the West Coast so no help here... Maybe if you posted a thread titled "Looking for E body Mechanic in Tampa Area"

The hood swap could either be handled by a mechanic or a Bodyshop... If it needs Paint probably best to talk to a Bodyshop..

I hate to say this but I'm now the old timer mechanic at UPS . I had to bring in a set of points and a carburetor to work to show the younger mechanics what they were. They had no clue as to what they were! Sort of like me with the new electronics. LOL

Load a condensor & toss it to one of the young guys... You'll have his undivided attention..   :roflsmiley:
