Why repo or repop and not repro???
« on: July 05, 2005 - 05:44:37 PM »
On most posts in most forums people refer to reproduced parts as repop's or repo's.
How come no one uses the term repro's.
Seems to me to be a more accurate name.

If this was a poll I would vote for repop as in repopulating the supply and it sounds cool.

Repop sounds cooler....

"Im gonna repop a cap in your azz"

I usually just say reproduction because I'm not too lazy to type in a few more letters......

Honestly, I've been around the car business for many years and I never heard the term "repop" until I came to this board.  But from the first time I read it, I knew what they meant.  Maybe it's a Mopar thang?   :dontknow:

I have always heard "repro" or "reproduction" before.
