i have a Y3 340 challenger how many citron yella 340 cars were made in 1971? thanks

Citron Yellow GY3 was #12 in popularity in 1971  w 4.2% of total Challenger production.

The other yellow Challenger in 71:   FY1 @ 1.3%

The most chosen Challenger color in 71: Blue  GB5 @ 12%, w Plum Crazy FC7 close at 10%

And total Challenger production was around  23,088   So 4.2% of 23.088 is about 970 cars....   

And R/T production was 4,680 which is slightly less than 20% of total production.... So you might guess that 20% of 970   (194 cars) would be close... But often high impact colors were more common on R/T's then on standard cars....  So maybe 200ish...

after looking at paint color online these above challengers look more like top bannana yellow than citron yella. what do you guys think?  also how many butterscotch challengers were produced in 1971?  thanks again drive safe

EL5 Butterscotch was #8 at 5.5% of 1971 Challenger production = about 1269 cars.

Taking "wild RT's' guess-tament: of 20% RT production of 1269 cars would be about  252+ EL5 RT cars / Butterscotch.
