Demon Sizzler Carb Rebuild?
« on: July 05, 2005 - 08:10:03 PM »
I have still not made up my mind on a carb, and am now seriously considering the Demon Sizzler rebuild service.  I am looking at the street/strip rebuild since mileage isnt much of a concern, and adding some hp is exactly what Im looking for.  Has anyone had any experience with him?

"He lists the street/strip option for factory H.P. engines or any with 224 duration(@.050")to 250 duration(@.050")cams, stock intake/exhaust or aftermarket.  Includes a new kit, new brass floats and choke pull-off. Each carb is cleaned, inspected and pre-adjusted for max performance and gas mileage.  custom jetting for a specific application and mods to the accelerator pump. The choke plate/attaching rod is removed for max air flow and flows a max of 910 cfm's.

You can expect stock gas mileage figures with an extra 25-30 horsepower over a stock build."

This is info copied from his site:  http://www.thermoquads.com/

Again, my setup is 1973 Cuda, 340 auto, headers, mild cam and bored .030" over.

Any input?
