Absolutely..........attach to the accessory holes in the front and rear of the heads........dont!!!! attach to the holes where the intake manifold bolts to the head.......no no no no no.........

I'm just curious for an explanation as to "Why Not?".  The Intake holes are 3 inches away from the accessory holes, and there both on the head. Only thing i can think of is breaking a bolt off in one of those holes, that would suck. But hey you could break a bolt off in the water jacket, the accessory  hole( populated with a bracket), tranny mount.... etc. etc..

the carb studs are ment to hold a carb that dont take much punishment they are a less strong than a head bolt or a water pump bolt!! take a carb stud and lay it beside a water pump bolt tell me which is stronger??

Its a good thing i don't want to use those little fellas.  I'm talking about the Actual Bolt and Holes for the "intake Manifold" ( 8 of em but i would use 4)

Chain likes to dig into aluminum when using the intake bolts w/the intake on, otherwise i would use those holes w/o the intake on...

And you are pulling sideways on them, where you are pulling strait up on the accessory bolts, I have seen the threds messed up in the heads by a bent bolt from lifting it that way.
I use two, left side acessory front, right side acessory rear.
