17" Rallye Wheels on '70 Cuda
« on: August 03, 2017 - 01:22:30 PM »
Installed the 17x8 and 17x9 wheels on my '70.  Nitto 555's 245/45 fronts and 275/40 rears.  Good fit, swapped my 15x8 Rallye center caps and used 1/4-20 1" flange bolts to install.

Thx!  Yes, stock suspension.  I may add 1" lowering blocks to the rear to flatten out the rake.

U can see the 40 on rear are smaller. Do they carry 275x45?

I think the stance looks great. Wouldn't change a thing

Maybe the photo, but the diameter of those two sizes are almost identical at 25.68" (front) and 25.66" (rear)

Thanks, Barrie Ontario?  Saw a few concerts at Mosport park back in the day.

Thank you!  I wanted to maintain the classy muscle look of the Cuda without getting flashy with the rims.  The Year One Rallyes are a very subtle upgrade.

Yep Barrie, Ontario. Did you mean Mosport? That's an hour or 2 from me. Maybe you meant Molson's park as they used to hold concerts, that's 2 minutes up the road from me here in Barrie. ( now a shopping center :pullinghair: )

Like you say, it's a subtle upgrade but man it looks really good.
I'd like to do something like that with my car but I would be crucified by the purist.
Also the stance of your car looks right on.  I would not change a thing.

Yes! Molson Park.  Great times at festivals in the late 80's and 90's
