70 Cuda door panel -fuzzies-trim-upper window rubber- installation

I pulled off the upper trim from my door panels and assumed a re-pop set would go on without a hitch-I ordered a set from ebay and what I got were a set that needed to be riveted on-I got back to the seller who agreed to take them back=but-I was at Long Beach swap meet today and was looking at a 71 440 cuda and the window trims on that car were riveted on-I tried to talk to the owner but he was not interested in my questions about the rivets  being non original-anyone have any thoughts on this and or can the original push on types be found?

I may be wrong buy I think most of the aftermarket pieces are riveted.  I have an older set that I think were from year one.  They came with rivets also.  I was going to re-use the original screws but the holes don't line up.

I just riveted them on and paint the rivet head black and you'll hardly notice them.
