    440 block marking - help

    Anyone know what this means?  The symbol with letters d, c, p, d. ... and what looks like a really big C....

    Dodge Chrysler Plymouth Desoto  And the really big C is during the machining process the mill operator touched his flycutter to the face in the block right there....
