Frank, to give you a reasonable point of comparison... I bought a 70 Challenger R/T a couple years ago. While the 70 Cuda might get a little more money, a 70 Challenger RT is a much closer comparison in value than a 71 hemi Cuda.
My 70 Challenger RT is all numbers matching, a 383, and a 4 speed car in Go Mango color. Like yours, it too needs a full restoration. My car has almost no rust but minor front end damage which is much easier to repair than rust. My cars value is probably not far from yours.
I paid $7500 for mine. If yours has a lot of rust, missing it's original drive train, or other issues, the value of yours is closer to 6-7k. If it is in better shape, has original drive train, and no issues, it could be worth around 12k in my opinion.
