    From everything I can gather, the new "Hemi" started out with hemispherical chambers and after testing and modification, they ended up not so much so.  But, the not-so-hemi heads are supposed to be better. 

    That said: 

    Q:  When is a Hemi not a Hemi ?

    A:  When a bunch of Germans buy the name.   :beer:

    Again, the HEMI name is a very recognized trade mark and is used for marketing.  Never mind the engine actually bears no resemblance to having a hemi-sperical combustion chamber.  Here's a pic of the 5.7 chamber and a links to an articles with a lot of info.
