emergency brake cable routing
« on: September 07, 2017 - 06:38:11 PM »
I installed 2X3 subframe connectors through the floor on a 73 barracuda. The car originally had emergency brake cables with an intermediate cable. Can emergency brake cables without an intermediate cable be installed on a 73 barracuda? I was trying to find pictures of the emergency brake cable setup without an intermediate to see if they would interfere with subframe connectors.

I have SFC on my Cuda and am running a Lokar E brake cable, it runs on the outside of the connectors (between the connectors and rocker panel).

I didn't know Lakar car made emergency brake cables.  Is this the kit you used EC-80FU ?

That looks like it. I had to adapt it to the original cable coming from the pedal. Not hard, just takes some thinking.
