ride height (Rear)

Hi All,
what controls the ride height in the rear?  (Other than the shocks)  I have identical shocks and springs age wise and brand.  I measure the height in the center of the wheel to the lip of the wheel opening and the drivers side is 3/4" higher than the passenger side.  you can even see it when the car is flat on level ground.   The front is pretty close to dead on, side to side. within 1/8" The sway bar link is new with all new bushings.  I'm wondering if the passenger side sway link is just cranked tighter than the drivers side.  Would that cause the issue?  what is the proper procedure for tightening that down?

Front torsion bars and maybe a bent weak leaf spring could do that.  Sway bars don't effect height front to rear.

If you Raise front the passenger side torsion bar a little the drivers side rear will lower, do this with front off the ground..
Opposite front side adjustment impacts the rear.. Clear as Mud?

the front is really close side to side.  Within 1/8".  wouldn't that screw up the front?

Assuming the 1/8" is lower on the passenger side front perhaps both will benefit. As I understand it a small front adjustment impacts the rear to a greater extent due to weight distribution, front is heavier.

Leaf spring arc will control rear ride height.  Some have said super stock springs make the car sit higher in the rear on the passenger side.  I have super stock springs and don't find that to be true.

You can also put lowering blocks in between the axle housing and the spring to lower the rear if its too high.  There are several dimensions to adjust height.
